Now, about that momma of Jack and Amelia's...
She tries awful hard to be a good listener to them...but sometimes she tunes them out.
She tries to keep her eyes on them all the time ... but sometimes she just gets preoccupied.
She wants to encourage them to do the things they like ... but sometimes she struggles when it's not what she wants.
Law, the woman tries to have patience, but sometimes she just goes certifiably crazy.
And she's always dang silly.
But one thing is sure.... she is undeniably and uncontrollably...

Very cute! I love their sweet faces...and your tongue hanging out. But my fave is your crazy face. We all have those moments :) At least in this family.

Youre right about the crazy in our family, KJ. Now...how did that go again....
Im saying this is the South. And were proud of our crazy people. We dont hide them up in the attic. We bring em right down to the living room and show em off. See...no one in the South ever asks if you have crazy people in your family. They just ask what side theyre on. - Julia Sugarbaker
HAHAHAHA! I reckon that means Im on display in the living room a lot.

Amen and amen! You are too cute. I love the craziness although I never was this crazy until the babies were born:) And never this happy, satisfied and full of love. I know the Spirit of the Lord fills us mommies with crazy love. Thank you Jesus.
PS I love your Mothers Day outfit! Gorgeous.

Hi Katie! I have been following your blog for awhile now(I came over from Kelly's Korner) and I just wanted to let you know I think you are a wonderful mother! Your kiddos always look so happy and I think that is a reflection of you and your love. You set an example for those of us who don't have children yet of how to be a good mother and wife for that matter. It looks like you had a great mother's day and you sooo deserve it =) p.s Love the Julia Sugarbaker quote! That was one of the best shows with some of the funniest women =)

Dearest Katie, lovely and silly is simply the best combination. What grace there is in holding our babies tight. What joy.

I love the way you wrote this in the third person to your babies! What beautiful Mother's Day portraits! Is that a corsage you are wearing? Did Mike get that for you?! Keep up the great work, Momma... your babies are blessed beyond measure to have you and Mike!
