Earlier this week, I finally got around to hanging up some new curtains in the living room. I wanted to change what I had in there previously because it looked so fall-y. So I found this fabric, and even though it has that chocolately background, I thought it would look good for the spring and summer. I have a green sofa in this room, and even though it is solid, it has NOT been easy trying to find fabric that I like with it.
I have been slaving over these window mistreatments... Ha! (If you haven't mistreated anything, you have to start. It's so easy and quick and inexpensive. And fun. And liberating. And beautiful.)
The lighting in this room makes it so hard to get good pictures, day or night. These don't do the fabric any justice. It's really beautiful, and it has changed the whole look of the room. I'm not sure what type of fabric it is, but it has such a pretty feel and nice drape. I love it!
I am eventually going to put some fringe along the selvage of these, but until then I just rolled them in to hide them.
Love that poof at the top!
Thank you to the Nester! And thank you, Mike...and Amelia, for helping me! ;o)
Now I need to find some coordinating fabric for some pillows...

Those are gorgeous, Katie!! And I am totally love the pleated skirt on the sofa!!

Love the new curtains...the fabric is beautiful! If you go to the Waverly website you can pull up all of their fabrics and see which other patterns they would put with it. Sometimes it is too matchy but it is fun to play with and get ideas.

Oh how I love thee curtains. Let me count the ways....
Seriously, get your tail over here and help me. Please? I'll come and help you transition when the new baby comes.....b/c that was so much harder than I anticipated. All I can say is take every offer of help you can. But let me tell you this, it is SO worth it. I love watching my two play together now. It truly warms my heart.

I hope you post them again when you add the fringe. I recently hung some curtains and left my selveges alone. I had wondered about putting fringe there, so I am glad someone else is thinking along the same lines. Your fabric is lovely.

Those look gorgeous! Very pretty fabric. I am originally from GA, now living in AL, but we go back to visit family all of the time. Where do you buy your fabric? I'd love to go there the next time we're back in GA!!
