The other day, I heard about "Elf on the Shelf." He scouts out everything during the day, then reports back to Santa every night on who has been naughty or nice. In the morning, he is in a different "scouting" location in the house! We have already been having too much fun with our little elf! Oh, I can't wait for Amelia to get older so she can play with me... :o)
When I got home this afternoon from running some errands, I found a box on the porch with a familiar label. It was a package from Tom's Mom's Cookies! This is a little cookie shoppe in my husband's hometown of Harbor Springs, Michigan. So, I sat myself down and enjoyed one...um, or two. :o)
The box says it contains cookies that are "extraordinarily delicious." Too right you are, Tom's Mom...
Ever since she was in her second month, Amelia has appeared to be teething..... She gnawed on her hands (and everything else) and drooled. She chewed on everything so much Mike & I called her Our Little Termite and joked that we would have to keep her away from the wood. I waited and waited and waited for those little white buds to appear. And then one day, after many fist feasts, there they were...two wee little teeth on the bottom!

So I was the sucker who couldn't resist the baby toothbrushes...
Have y'all tried Martha Stewart's homemade marshmallows? Not only are they so beautiful to look at, they are incredible to eat!! They just melt in your mouth....mmmm! These would make such a fun stocking stuffer for Christmas...
Ta-Da!!!! I finally, finally, finally found some chairs for my breakfast nook table! After looking for two years, I found them in one of my favorite little antique spots. I am (literally) jumping for joy!
As I was bouncing around my new chairs, Amelia was just cackling! Because everything Mama does is simply for her enjoyment, dontcha know! Silly Mama...
I am thinking some very thin ticking chairpads are in order...
